Jacob Manning is a 5th generation farrier & blacksmith who grew up learning the trade from his father, Dennis Manning CJF. He started his farrier career in 1998 & went full-time in 2005 working with many different breeds of horses but is now primarily with Quarter Horses. Jacob is the current AFA Vice President & works at the University of Illinois Veterinary Hospital with farrier Tobias Ellis teaching vet student’s farrier work. Jacob takes pride in helping farriers & blacksmiths at clinics & certifications around the U.S. & Mexico.
