Event Description

There will be an extensive slide show presentation and many skeletons with normal and abnormal presentation. We will look at many bones including the hyoid apparatus and pedal bones, and dive into how the horse is put together. We will learn how things should work and what happens when things go wrong. We will cover ECVM, arthritis, fractures, asymmetry, and more. Most of the skeletal specimens have a story and some have video and pictures to help tell the story of the horse under examination.
