The US alone has almost 10 million horses. The most current estimates are that 10% to 15% of horses will suffer from laminitis every year. In the US, that is 1 million horses per year. The ECIR Group has been there to help caregivers and their equines for 25 years, researching, educating, and helping equines negotiate rehabilitation from or avoidance of debilitating laminitis.
The 2025 Jubilee NO Laminitis! Conference will be a special celebration of the 25 years that the ECIR Group has remained the largest field-trial database for Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (PPID) and Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS)/Insulin Resistance (IR) in the world, dedicated to the quest of helping metabolic equines. Attendees will welcome the latest in research and proven protocols used to improve the welfare of equines in their care. Join the ECIR Group, Drs.
