If you are considering trying for your Lameness Specialist Certification some day, or just want to learn more about treating and troubleshooting lameness, this is a great educational opportunity. We will spend three and half days learning about various pathologies and working on a multitude of lameness issues. Through the use of many methods and tools available to us today, we will evaluate, treat and fine tune each case until the best possible results are achieved. You will learn how to leverage test horses, evaluate distortions using the E.L.P.O. Hoof Evaluation Protocol, as well as fill out all the forms applicable in a full case study workup. You will receive lots of personal instruction and hands-on experience from some excellent E.L.P.O. Lameness Specialists, so don’t pass up this opportunity to expand your hoof care toolbox.

 

This course is for professional hoof care providers that wish to learn more about equine lameness & treatment options.  Topics of discussion will include:

  • Laminitis

  • Navicular Syndrome

  • Ring Bone

  • Collateral Ligament Lesions

  • Leverage Testing

  • E.L.P.O. Distortion Evaluation System
