Scholarship Awards – Your FREE ticket to the 2023 International Hoof-Care Summit

The Hoofcare Essentials Foundation is now accepting applications for the Roy Bloom Scholarship Awards for farriers and the Frank Gravlee Scholarship Awards for veterinarians.

This program annually recognizes two (2) eligible farriers  and two (2) eligible veterinarians by providing each of them with a package to include:

  • Registration to the International Hoof-Care Summit (Cincinnati, Ohio)
  • Transportation to the Summit (either by auto reimbursement or air travel)
  • Lodging at the Summit (up to 4 nights)

APPLICATION DEADLINE: OCTOBER 15, 2022

Nominations Open for IAPF Directors

IAPF Nominating and Elections Committee, has announced that we are now accepting nominations for two Director positions. These positions are for three-year terms beginning on January 1, 2023 and ending on December 31, 2025.

 

Candidate Directors shall have been, either:

  • A professional farrier or veterinarian for at least ten (10) years and be a current Accredited Professional Farrier and have successfully completed the IAPF Foundation Credential (APF-I).  Further, if appropriate a DVM, VMD, or other professional veterinarian designation, or
  • A professional farrier or veterinarian for at least five (5) years, who has maintained Accreditation status for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years, be a current Accredited Professional Farrier (APF), and have successfully completed the IAPF Foundation Credential (APF-I).
