April 4, 2025 -April 6, 2025	Ron Pfeifer Live Shoeing (6 CE) 12 Horse Live Shoeing !!! Everyone is welcome. Haflinger Show horses to be shod in Custom Longfooted Show Packages preparing for the first show. Dont miss this learning opportunity! You cant learn this craft in books! Ron Pfeifer will be shoeing his 8 horse hitch horses April 11-14 th. You are welcome to attend one day or multiple days. Ron will teaching and explaining how these horses are shod. Ron Pfeifer CF has been a farrier for 29 years. For the last 15 years mainly shoeing long footed show horses .He currently is the driver of a 8 horse Haflingers hitch. During this event Ron will apply principles of long footed shoeing ,toe weights,wedges ,and leather pads as it affects the biomechanics of movement of these high stepping horses . April 25, 2025	Meader Supply Corp Special Scotch Bottoms Clinic (7 CE) Mark Lucas started shoeing horses in 1973. Initially, he shod Standardbred and Thorobred horses at farms and racetracks in Ohio. In 1976 he began shoeing drafts which lead to a long career shoeing drafts all across the country. Since the early 1990s Mark and his family have shown daft horses in halter and carriage classes. He has owned and operated a carriage business for the last 22 years participating in weddings, funerals, parades and many special events. Ron Pfeifer CF has been a farrier for 29 years. For the last 15 years he has mainly focused upon shoeing long footed show horses. He lives in Vermilion Ohio and drives and shows Draft horses as well as 8 horse Haflingers hitches . Ron has developed unique shoeing concepts for high stepping hitch horses by applying principles of long footed shoeing. Through his shoeing experience he has studied how toe weights, wedges, and leather padding affects the biomechanics of movement of these high stepping horses. more info...
