More Information: Jennifer Horn APF CJF, is a full-time farrier from the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She is a 1990 graduate of Wolverine Farrier School, where she was under the tutelage of International Hall of Fame farrier Robert Reaume CJF. She became a Certified Journeyman Farrier in 2002 and received the high score award for the written Journeyman exam. She is active with the Michigan Horseshoers Association, serving as their Secretary for more than 10 years. Jennifer, along with Richard Becker, is the co-chairman for the MHA Contest and Clinic Committee. Jennifer is a founding member of the Board of Directors for the American Association of Professional Farriers, and a member of several other national and local farrier and blacksmithing associations. She attends numerous clinics, contests, and events each year to continue her education. Jennifer was an AFA Cultural Exchange farrier to England in 2010. She enjoys forging in the fire and working with other farriers & smiths which lead her to creative forging hobbies. She enjoys and competes in blacksmithing events with creative and functional art and uses the opportunities to develop her forging skills and enhance her everyday shoeing work abilities. She also enjoys competing in farrier contests as an individual and with teams.
